Construction Industry Arbitration Council levies the following fee for administering Arbitrations under its Rules.
The Arbitrator’s fee, Administration fee and Appointment fee shall be taken as a composite amount, although fixed separately with regard to the amount in dispute in each case.

Note:
- The above fee as mentioned in column (3) is applicable for each Arbitrator. In the case of sole arbitrator, the fee as mentioned in column (3) above shall have an additional component of 15 %.
- In addition to the Arbitrator’s fee and Administration charges as above, the parties shall also be liable to pay taxes as applicable.
- The Appointment fee as mentioned in Para-B above is a lump-sum payment and is not linked with the amount in dispute.
- The fee as mentioned in Para-A & B above shall be shared equally between the parties.
- The fee is pegged to the entire sum in dispute i.e. Claim plus Counter-claim (if any). In case the claim and Counter-claim are not quantifiable in the beginning of the process, the Registrar-CIAC would fix the Arbitrator’s fee. However, the exact fee shall be ascertained at the time of finalisation of Award and shall become payable before the award is published.
